Revenue growth

Intermediate

Revenue growth measures how much revenue grew (or shrank) versus the prior year, in percent. Example: Revenue 2023 = $100m, revenue 2024 = $115m → growth = 15%. Watch out: Steady growth over many years is more valuable than a single outlier. Slowing growth at a former 'growth stock' can hurt the price hard, even if it's still growing in absolute terms.
